Studying in Oz - currency query
 

I've just received an offer from Flinders uni to study a 2yr graduate entry nursing degree :-) Whay hey!!!!

All I need to do now is pay my first semester fees and this is where I would like some advice. I've been given the option of a bankers draft or electronic transfer. I phoned up my bank today (HSBC) and was told there would be a £12 and £15 fee respectively and that the exchange rate would be better than the tourist rate (today she quoted 2.794). I was wondering though whether I can/should shop around or whether there is any other organisations that I could go through.

2.794 sounds pretty good. You can check on how good it is by looking at www.oanda.com, which gives accurate currency conversion info plus history.
