For us it would have been cheaper in the UK. We didn't know this until we arrived. And the shipment turned up really quick (5 weeks) and we weren't ready for it.

The storage costs for us where cheaper in Oz than the UK BUT because we weren't in OZ we then would have had to pay inport duties which mean't it was better to store it here. Our 20ft container has been in storage in UK since22nd June. It cost £112 every 4 weeks if that help and was a damn sight cheaper than my mortgage lol!
It leaves Southampton on the 12th December, spends Christmas on the ocean and arrives Brisbane on the 15th January.
