Default Stopping Child Benefit

Has anyone had problems stopping there child benefit payments ?

Contacted them twice to inform them of our move, Childrens Tax credits stopped, Income tax refund received etc but they still keep paying the child benefit.

Have you completed the form 'Leaving the UK'? Once thats done then they sort it all out. Wouldn't worry about it to be honest. They do sort it out but it takes 8 weeks. Your still legally entitled to it during that 8 weeks.

Same thing happened to us. We notified them in December and then April, but they were still paying the money into our account in the July

We had to close the bank account so that they wouldn't pay anything else into it!
