Why not? we are thinking of spending 3 days in Sentosa resort and Spa.

Dear Ambermax, only ever stopped in Dubai to change planes so doesn't really count. Wouldn't fly Emirates again if you paid me so that's out. Stopped in Singapore and loved it. Granted we stayed in our hotel complex most of the time but that was great, Raffles City, had a lovely pool, shopping centre with stunning supermarket downstairs where you could buy great food, with some organic, and we loved our carpet picnics (not into fast food and with a toddler just cannot do restaurants). This time we are going to Singapore again and staying on Sentosa Island at Sentosa Resort and Spa.. HOpe this helps.

We've done Kuala Lumpar, Hong Kong and Singapore. Would recommend Hong Kong as the best of the three - just make sure you book a hotel in Kowloon and not on the island itself as the rooms are a lot bigger :)

I stayed in the Regent Hotel, 9 of us all in twin rooms came to $225 SGD about £80 per room per night. The place was out of this world first class treatment all round. Even better because the British Government was footing the bill. Visited Sentosa a couple of times its an absolutely beautiful place. Singapore is quite expensive but there are cheaper places to stay. We went with Singapore Stopover's a few years back and got a quite cheap hotel for about £40 per night, The Allson 3 * but that felt like 5* to uk standards. Nightlife excellent Clarks Quay, Boat Quay and Raffles is a must. Everywhere you go day or night you feel safe no hassle or trouble. We would love to stop over again next trip
