STNI-South Australia-Questionnaire
STNI-South Australia-Questionnaire
Hi!
I am a Sonographer with an American Qualification.Have studied and worked in Australia from 2000 to 2002.
SA Immigration has advised me to fill in a questionnaire and return within two months for consideration under STNI.
Now I have a problem. After studying in Australia,I was assessed by ACS as Systems Manager and I applied under Skilled Matching category as a fresh Australian qualified graduate but I know that is quite a long shot. I have not applied for assessment by AIR but I am sure I will get a postive one with my qualifications.
I had a health related background and some experience as Sonographer.During 2002,I upgraded my Sonography qualifications and now have 6 months experience. The question is;can I put in a second application under STNI?
Should I submit the questionnaire before I receive my assessment as I have 2 months to post the questionnaire and assessment takes 16-20 weeks by AIR.(Confused!!!!!)
Another querry is regarding money that I have and can bring to SA as finding a job would be yet another tedious task and it may take months before I get a job, though Sonographers are in Demand in Australia. I have around AUS $ 40,000 as savings plus securities and residential plots.HOW MUCH THIS MONEY FACTOR COUNTS TOWARDS YOUR CHANCES FOR NOMINATION?
What are the factors which are taken into consideration when processing an application for STNI by SA Immigration department???? (Migration Agents, please)
Also what are other factors which have a bearing on your application for nomination under STNI. I have studied and worked 20 hours/week in australia for 1.5 years and visited SA as well.
I would appreciate if someone who have gone through all this answers my questions and any migration agent is welcome if he can steer me through waters quickly.
Regards,
