Default STNI for Environmental Health Officers

Has anyone applied or is applying for STNI under the Environmental Health Officer category?

Just considering it ourselves at the moment but any information/tips greatly appreciated!

Also with regard to STNI, do you recommend that we do it ourselves or go through a Migration Agent?

Thanks in advance.

Not as such, will more than likely be trying as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer though, maybe STNI but waiting for assessment from migration agent to see what options are available, will keep you posted on the outcome and progress if you like.

Thanks for reply.

Yes, it would be great if you could let us know how you get on, Good Luck with it!

We've just send off for our Skills Assessment with Vetassess (only posted it last Saturday) now keeping everything crossed. Trying to be optimistic about it and hoping for the best.

By the way, where is S.Yorks are you? We live in sunny (not so)! Rotherham.

Hi

I have recently applied for a visa under the STNI category for the same occupation. Have you checked with the relevant body that you meet qualification requirements, if your sure you meet them you are almost there is convincing the state for nomination.

I do not plan to use an agent for any of the process as it appears fairly straightforward. If you get sponsorship from a state under this scheme then they assist in pushing your application though the DIMIA, which can reduce time dramatically.

Make sure your thourough in obtaining as much information about your experience and qualifications as you can and also your personal circumstances if you intend taking someone with you.
