Yes, ours was pretty informal too, well compared to what it is usually like here.
We don't have any close friends really. Except my few close friends in Perth,..... But we preferred doing it here, before we go, because of our family that we're pretty close to.
So, yours are coming out to Perth (well some)? That's great that you could get them there all at the same moment, well, they haven't a choice right!!
Well, have fun!

Well, it was a very moving ‘ceremony’. We’d had a talk with the woman who did it beforehand, so it was very personal. Also the mums gave as the rings, and at the end the dads read the marriage certificate.
Then we signed it, and our 2 witnesses, both our brothers, signed it too.

Thankyou, thankyou thankyou
<and the thread goed to the top again >
Salonit - wow, you too! You'll be very busy flying around!
Good luck and have fun! (Kenja, wow!)
Barbara03 - yes, Stefan is nice.. and single, and 22 years old. But he does already have a child, who he doesn't get to see. His girlfriend broke up with him, 4 weeks before the due date, out of the blue, and she doesn't want him to see his son, and he can't do anything, cos she didn't want to recognise him as the father, and they weren't married or living together. The baby is about 2 months now, but he hasn't seen him yet.
Anyway, looooooong story....
But anyway, he's coming to visit us in Perth with his parents in December 2004, yes it's all planned already! And after that he'll be doing a world trip by himself and he'll be visiting again!
We actually hang out with him quiet a lot, his friends are now our friends too.

That's a shame for your brother, the same thing happened to mine nearly 2 years ago. He got to see her once!
My parents took it really bad. They tried to keep up contact but had to back off in the end as she's now with a nutcase.. all very long and complicated!
I'd better warn Pete he's got competition (ha ha!).
(only kidding!)
