Staying at another country before arriving @ Oz
Dear Experts
I'm a Srilankan national currently living in UK on work permit for the past 4 years; and have applied for Skilled-Independent migration to Australia. I have 2 queries:
1.
Upon ASPC's request I've submitted by medicals and pcc many months ago and they have now asked me to do a Statutory Declaration in front of an Australian Consular, which I've done this week. I can pretty much sense that this thing is coming to an end. After coming this far in this migration application process, what are the chances for "visa refusal" (<10%, 10-25%, 25-50%, etc.) ?
2.
If I'm successful and get my PR visa put on my passport at the High Commission in London, Will I be able to travel to another country before departing to Oz from there with the same visa label obtained at London (for eg: I would like to go back to Srilanka for few weeks stay before my last leg trip to Oz) ?
Many thanks

2. Of course, you can enter Aus from anywhere provided you have the right visa for staying.
