Starting work in Australia
 

Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is in the wrong forum, but here goes.

Just been approved a 457 visa and will be moving over to Sydney next month :D:D

Anyway, my sponsoring company tell me I need to start work basically as soon as I land which they say is one of the restrictions of my visa.

I am pretty annoyed about this as I wanted at least 2 weeks to settle in, find my feet and get accomodation sorted before i start work.

Have any of you guys heard about this rule? Do you think it would be a problem for me to start work 2 weeks or less after arriving in Aus?
