Yeah!

But I'm busy! Actually, I've handed in my reports, but I've still have to make some flow charts of the new processes I suggested. Arggh, annoying work!

I've nearly finished here, 1 week to go, and I know I will pass and everything, but still have to do a bit more, I said I would.

And then a week of, and onto the next company, which will be my last half year, one big project, but that'll also be fulltime.
I'll be getting paid a small amount then at least, so that's a bit more of a motivation!

I belong and participate and have done, to an online chat community , that is australian based, and you kinda get to speak in ways that ppl both understand and relieves typing amounts...

I will at some point today put a thread on, explaining the "lingo" and perhaps we can have some fun

cheers

Yes please. I actually raised a thread this morning (hadnt read this one at the time) asking for help to understand all these things. Some I have been able to figure out but others are just like whoosh, over my head

Perhaps you can take a few moments and help answer what they mean.

yeah it's a bugger when you're working on a computer all day with net access 24/7..... be strong, try not to think about it. i went a whole 24 hours at the start of the week without even looking at this forum. Then it took me 3 days to catch up!!!

But I'm not strong
I have no self discipline.

But I must say, I find it amazing still how much I do in between, all those 5 mins added up together. (I have a concentration span of about 5 mins, then I refresh the expats page again!)
At the end of the day, I can still show something, though it could be a lot more obviously!

Going Dutch means you both pay for each others meals..

Double Dutch is used when people talk and dont really make sense,, a bit like me .. and i wasnt inferring you didnt speak coherently, it was my stab at humour <FLOP>

I always get those 2 mixed up!

But, umm, I speak Double Dutch all the time! It's usually long and confusing sentences which is my problem

And I also always speak normal Dutch!
Except yesterday when I was interviewed by an AUssie.
She came out here on a one year working visa 6 years ago, ended up staying and working 5 years. This year is doing a masters degree on immigration at a uni in Amsterdam, and is doing her thesis on reasons why the Dutch migrate to Oz. She posted a notice on a Dutch forum and I responded. So yesterday was the first time I met up with someone via internet. Though we did speak on the phone too!
Anywayyyyy, it was fun! Chatted an hour about Oz-Holland in our Australian english! She said it was fun meeting up with someone who had an Ozzie accent and also said my english is excellent! I'm so proud

Well, there you have it, another load of double dutch.
