Starting a Business in WA
Can anyone tell me how long you need to be a PR before you are allowed to start your own business? It was suggested to me that it was possibly 2 years which seems quite long.

I would see no reason why somebody on PR could not start a business straight away. I certainly don't remember anything about not being able to anyway.

You can step off the plane and immediately start your business. Once your passport is stamped by Australian immigration you're a PR and can do whatever floats your boat.
