Standard Life to demutualise
Hi folks
Standard Life announced this today:
(1) 1,000 job cuts
(2) Group Chief executive earnt £600,000 last year - a rise of 15.9%
(3) They are going to propose demutualising to its members by 2006.
Number (3) is one of the biggest U turns I have heard - almost on a par with the crap that comes out of New Labour.
