Default Spouse visa question

Hi there!

Have posted this over on immigration but know a number of you who frequent this board have applied on the same type of visa so may be able to help.

Just finalising my app form for Spouse visa. I am applying from UK.

Little bit confused about type of application I should put.

It says to select one of the following: -

Spouse - applying outside Australia

Class UF - partner provisional
Class BC - partner migrant

Which one do I use?? What is the difference?

Would appreciate any advice.

Tks

Hi

All you need to do is just tick the "Spouse" box!!

You do not need to worry about the other bit!!!

Good luck!! It only took 3 working days for my hubby's visa to be issued..

Cheers

Sam

DIMIA will decide which class to give you. If you have been with your partner over 5 years (2 where children are involved) you will get BC100 migrant (permanent resident) visa. Otherwise you will get a UF 309 provisional (temporary resident) partner visa.
