Spouse Visa (DE FACTO) Application
Hi
I wondered if there were any specific format that the contents page for spouse visa had to take.
I have already drafted one up - it is attached. Feel free to pass judgement on it. Does it seem right???
Any help on this would be FANTASTIC!

Hi,
do you have a statement showing joint payment of the travel as that is what we included with the our joint travel stuff and did no harm.

4 Weeks, no interview, i think as long as you can prove your de-facto relationship and it's duration and that people around you (friends+family) also can verify that too then i think it is just a matter of time.
Good luck, but am sure you do not need luck.
One thing is that we were told by some workers in Australia house that they can process it there and then but it never happend so don't get your hopes up. One thing we did notice about applying as de-facto spouse is that there are not alot people going under this so we were seen very quickly.
Will have to let me know how you go on.
Where are you planning on moving too?

will hopefully be leaving the UK on 29th July if visa comes through. It should as average processing time is 28days.
We will be staying in Noosa (little cove). How about you?
Will let you know of the outcome..

Have you thought to include..
Hi,
On form 40sp that the sponsor has to fill out it says that they need to include proof of their employment and income status for the 2 years prior to lodging the application. I didn't see this on your list. It's a requirement! Hope you haven't forgotten this
Good luck, I'm going to lodge my de facto spouse application in August.
Judy.

They will only process it "there and then" if you make an appointment first, and then they have to be satisfied with the paperwork when you turn up. To get an appointment you have to email them and wait (impatiently!) for them to contact you.
There have been people on the forums who have got their visas granted on the spot, so it is possible.
