Spousal Visa Washington Embassy
 

Has anyone had recent experience with the Processing of visas in Washington at the embassy? What is the approximate time until a decision is made?

My australian husband and I will soon be filing our partner visa application and sending it there. A few questions:

Exactly what should friends and family say in their statutory declarations?

My spouse is here with me in the states-- will that be a problem as we apply for the Australian visa? He has also applied for adjustment of status for his green card.

Any advice or shared experiences would be great!
