Sponsorship Visa's From Companies In Aus Lafh Allowance
Does anybody know the criteria for receiving the LAFH 'living away from home allowance', do you still have to have your house in the UK etc?

We didn't have a house in England, but it'll depend on the particular employer and how they apply the LAFHA criteria. Get it all in writing before accepting the job so that you can hold them to it, it's one of those things where there are no hard and fast rules so employers provide it, and at a variety of different amounts. As it is a tax allowance, it's not costing them to provide you with it but there's a great deal of ignorance about the allowance unfortunately.
