Talking Sponsorship timescales - any Ideas

I have just had an e-mail from my prospective employer in Sydney who would like me to start work in April/May or sooner as they have just secured a large project.

We were intending to start the process in the New Year and we will more than likely get an agent involved but can anybody give any advice on timescales to get a Temporary Employer sponsorship visa? It could even be through ENS.

It is all becoming reality now and we need to get moving so any thoughts would be appreciated.
