Question sponsor designated area.

Hi,
I am applying for immigration to australia under General skilled sponsored category.sponsor will be my brother who lives in

Liverpool
NSW 2170.

As per immigration general rule only those who can sponsor are who are/have not lived in deignated areas. It includes sydney 2000-2249.As liverpool is under sydney jurisdiction I am not sure whether he can sponsor me or not.
Can any one suggest me if he can sponsor me or not.

Thanking you in advance,
Best regards
Nagendra

Ask on the immigration forum - you'll get more of a response there.

Liverpool NSW is not only *not* a 'designated area' (for the purpose of subclass 139) but it's also subject to the Sydney skill list rules. You can read about this in the Skilled Migration Booklet.
