South Perth HELP/Advice needed.
Hi all
Wanted any advice on living in the south of perth.
Fancy Mandurah!!!! has anyone got any realistic advice on it?
Is it a small town?
what is there to do?
Will i feel claustraphobic aftre few years or is it growing and expanding all time?
Is there supermarket there? Cinema? Catholic church?
Or where else in south perth is great place to live?
Any advice grateful
Thanks

Hi KTD,
Just come back from our recce, and we visited Mandurah. Looks great, seems plenty going on, property's excellent value, but it is a long way from Perth if you need to commute. I hear a train station is being built soon, this will help. It's definately somewhere we would look closer at when we get over there.

Not too sure about a catholic chruch but there are churches around although not as many as we found in Adelaide !!. It's got a number of supermarkets and a shopping centre although there is a bigger one at Rockingham. We also liked Silver Sands, San Remo and Meadow Springs. A lot of new builds happening but Halls Head has some lovely older homes right on the beach. Depends on what you're after. Must admit that we didn't find the distance from Perth too bad and the rail link will be finished in 2005.
Would it be one on your list for a final settlement destination?
