Hi there,
Congrats on passing your Finals.
I was wondering how you are finding it over there regarding recognition of the CIMA qualification? Do employers tend to be happy with it or are you being persuaded to get the CA qual?
Thanks
R.

South of the River.....Balmoral - slightly further east than the West End. But only about 10-12 mins drive away. We're often in the West End eating noodles! Moved to Brizzy Sept 2005 but still take the occasional peak at Expats, though only about once a fortnight now! Its hard to totally break away. Congrats on your results by the way.

Sounds like enough for a south brissy meet up. We are in Belmont, between the sea and the city. Been here since Oct 2005, 3 sproggs, boys 3 and 10yrs, girl of 8yrs.

Re: South Brisbane
I did quite a big meet last year at New Farm which went very well. But....I've got the MIL arriving for 5 weeks then more UK visitors for 4 weeks around Easter so a bit tied up for a while. So if anyone is organising a meet AFTER 20th April anywhere on the Southside or City then we'll be there. Belmont, Wynnum are both close for us. I found that a meet organised way in advance attracted quite a few newbies, which was a good thing. Plus loads of oldies came out of the woodworks too! Its about time I met a few more local people - most of our friends are Gold Coasters or Baysiders. So Ginny (or anybody! )...why don't you post an entry on the Meet-ups board - I'm not trying to get out of the responsibility - its just that I won't be keeping a close eye on Expats until all the visiting relatives have gone.
See if we can get as many people as the New farm one attracted?
