Default Some recommended places for curry and pizza in Melbourne!

Following on from a thread a while back about a lack of good curry places down under, this review arrived today in the weekly newsletter I get from www.citysearch.com.au food and wine section:

http://melbourne.citysearch.com.au/profile?id=30009788

And the same newsletter recommends some of the top places for pizzas:

Good Man after all whats life without a tasty curry, as soon as we land in Melb and pick up the hire car, we shall make a dash to the takeaway

The Curry place mentioned is very easy to find - it's across the road from the famous 'clocks'. A traditional meeting place is Melbourne is 'under the clocks' at Flinders Street Station.

Come from Melbourne, Williamstown specifically, married to a Scot, we met in Melbourne, we did the reverse of the usual and emigrated to Scotland, we plan to move back to Melbourne in a year or two, visit Melbourne every year, my family still there, we own a place, going again this July for 5 weeks, support the Western Bulldogs, no ignore the last one! A very brief potted history! We'll try out some of the restaurants aforementioned in a few months time hopefully.

And you can get a nice 360 degree view from just down the road from our place (Williamstown looking across the bay to the city) at:

No curries or pizzas served here I'm afraid!
