Default Some good news out of the bad

Well as you all know us on the Central Coast of NSW were hit very hard over the last few days with storms and gale force winds. In Gosford near me over 350mm of rain fell in 3 days and the good news is..............our overall dam levels have risen by 33% to a massive 21% up on the 15% we were at might have a bath to celebrate.

You can only have a bath tonight if you're in an odd numbered house

Glad you came through unscathed. My lot did too, although they were worried about one big gum behind the house.

Hello Jo

Good to hear that you are all okay - we were thinking about you all. Our cousin's house in Phegan's Bay is very damp - landslide at the side of them as well. Other cousin who lives Hunter Valley had to sleep in the car on Friday night and her drive has been washed away!!

Can't wait to get there - will hopefully leave the UK on 1 August!!

See you soon.

We dont get rain that bad usually, although about a month ago we got 200mm in 2 days so maybe the drought has broken, fingers crossed.
