For anyone that is going through the process of a fiancee visa: Chris and I received our file number on May 8th and hadnt heard anything from the Washington office until today. We received a letter wanting more info. They wanted stat decs for any past relationship i.e if they were de facto or martial and also a stac dec on how he was going to fulfill his sponsorship obligations. For anyone that is going through this now, or thinking about it, include these with your paperwork. We had 3 different check lists that we went by and sent them 6 lbs of paperwork LOL and neither of these documents were on the check lists. I triple checked everything. But this is the only information they have requested. Just some friendly advice . Hope this helps someone. Best Regards, Chris & Dani
