Default Solar panels

Does anyone recommend/know an Aussie firm (with a website) that installs solar panels for the generation of electricity for your house..???

I don't have a recomendation but this website: http://www.seda.nsw.gov.au/ren_links_body.asp should give you a link to a renewable energy association in your State who may be able to help you.

I am not up to date with the latest technology (I used to be a renewable energy consultant) but it used to be the case that crystalline silicon (single crystal) modules were the way to go. They are more expensive than other silicon (and other materials) technologies but are around 15% efficiency which is about the highest you are going to get for now.
