SOL list!!!!!
So................
Anybody know when the SOL list gets updated?
Still waiting to see if Truckers are gonna get a look in. Been told its not too long so maybe on the next update. But when is it??????

No idea. Just keep your eye out on the immigration forum, usually one of the agents post a list when it changes.

Hi Kato,
Its not very likely that Truck Driver will go on the SOL now or in the future (wish it would). Having said that there are likely to be changes via employer sponsored visas to enable truck drivers to be sponsored for temp and permanent visa, at the moment it is only possible in regional areas. We are here in Oz on my husbands regional 457 as he is a truck driver. He is not happy in his job so we are hoping that the rules will change so that he can work for a metropolitan employer as this opens up more opportunities for him.
Are you still going to Bunbury? You should be fine to get a regional 457 as a truck driver then if your employer will sponsor you can apply for PR via RSMS after 2 years.
