Re: Soil Test! Results Help Needed
Having just had the underside of our house concreted and living on the Sunshine Coast up in Montville I'm quite happy for anyone to come up and take a look at the quality. We have a 70m plus driveway up a steep slope still to be concreted - this is on hold until we get some retaining rock wall work completed. The underneath section in concrete also comes out to the side of the house so as to complete the swing into the under house parking areas. We used a chap called Rod, recommended to us by people who had a driveway more sloped than ours (hard to imagine really). Anyway, so far so good. He'll be the one completing the 70 metre driveway. Concreting isn't cheap. Tarmac - I wouldn't. Bloody hot and sticky at times and it will move and break unless you have a super-duper job done.
Rod's number is 0418 758889 or 5491 6755. Just say Paul up at Montville gave you the number - the one where he's yet to complete the driveway! I won't get a discount, but at least it'll jog his memory that the jobs still not quite finished! ;) Like I said, if you want to take a look, take a drive up the range. It's 4 inches thick and only the other day I had a low loader deliver a camper and it didn't crack! There are hairline cracks due to shrinkage and a little movement but that's to be expected. Hope this helps. Paul. |
