Social Workers in Oz?

I'd be really grateful for any advice on this :-)

We are looking to possibly make the big move a few years from now on a skilled immigrant basis. However, after reading a few scare stories on this and other sites about the problems of finding employment I want to find out as much as I can beforehand. Does anybody have any experience or know how the job market in Oz is for Social Workers at all?

Like I said any feedback will be welcome :-)

This is a very new idea to us both, and we are just doing our initial research at the moment, nonetheless it's very exciting :)
