Default Snow in the UK

Ok so its not any questions about moving living or anything to do with Oz but i thought that the expats might like to know.

Its snowing in Oldham, current temp is 4.6oC 16.10h 18/11/04.

Hey guess what??!!!!

Ive just looked out the window and its snowing here too!!!

Its ok Im at home, all toasty warm, big cuppa coffee, the heating is on and its GREAT!!!

Well the only thing is that i gotta drive 150 miles from Manchester to Brum tonight (work 2morrow)

But who cares i'm off to OZ in about 2 wekks time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its official....its snowing in Derby and settling well...mmmm.....wonder if the 'cant get into work cos of the snow' will work yet!

It's also snowing here on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border (I live right on the border - painful!)
Getting very pretty. I live on a hill overlooking the Cheshire Plain.
Last winter I got snowed in for a couple of days in Jan - couldn't get to my night-shift (shame! ). Hopefully won't get snowed in this Jan and miss my plane :scared:
