Smoking to be Banned in Victorian Pubs from 1 July 2007
I know that this has been in the pipeline for a while now, but there has been some recent discussion about whether pubs, who cannot provide outside smoking areas, would be able to retain their licences.
Don't partake of the weed myself - so I'm looking forward to enjoying a pint in a smoke free atmosphere.

When I go home to Scotland, I can't believe how much lovelier pubs are without fags.
This is good news for me.

I work with lots of smokers and I honestly could tell you which ones smoked well before I ever really knew for sure. It's the receeding gums, yellow teeth, the grey ashen palour and the dry skin that give it away...and then there is the smell!
