Question Small volume shipping

Almost 14 years after we moved to Australia, we are on a big trip back to the UK and have found a box of crockery we thought was long lost!! I want to ship this plus a few other bits back to Melbourne. It's probably two archive boxes worth of stuff, and too heavy for the postal service. Does anyone have any experience / tips on the cheapest way to get this done? I'm not in a rush for it, so months of sea transit would be fine, but most places don't seem to do this, for small boxes it's air freight only. I'm looking at GBP500 ish and for that I might as well throw the stuff in the bin and start again, which is such a shame.

Try seven seas. They do anything from a few boxes to move cubes. You can get a quote on line. Sometimes airfreight can be reasonable so worth checking a few companies.

Pack it into several smaller parcels and post it?

Hello... thribble! A few years ago after my father had passed away I used these guys to ship the few boxes of his possessions I wanted to keep. The service was good and everything arrived intact. Ping me on FB if you want any other info

Thanks for this. They picked up our package yesterday and it should arrive back to Australia just after we do. Much appreciated.
