small pool????
Need help with our small pool.
We live on a building site and the cover blew off, it is now full of fine dirt laying on the bottom. We have tried everything to get rid of it, but it's not working. Just wondered if anyone had any good idea's on how to clean it without emptying it. (cos we carn't refill it at the mo)

You should just be able to use the vacuum thingy through the filter to suck up the dirt. Obviously you'll need to backwash the filter a few times.

I find it quite relaxing and do it when I get back from work.

If you don't mind negotiating a long snaky hose every swim, one of those Kreepy Krawly thingies will hoover up the rubbish on its own.

Re: small pool????
we have tried this, and also the sock thing. however the dirt is so fine it goes straight through (and thats with 4 socks on at once).so as its only a small pool (12ft round) i didnt want to buy anything else to clean it as it has already cost a small fortune.

Can you afford some of the PVC pipe - say 5m of it - 5 sections - to fit in the skimmer box, a plastic plate with brush on the end and a pole?
Connect it all up, pump on, and direct the plate across the sediment with the pole. It's all the pool cleaners do.
