skilss assesment
now i have my medical ??? out of the way i have another on lol
my hubby is a joiner by trade(no qualifications though) has been in the industry since 1988 till 2000(self employed last 3 years) then went into communicationts till end of this week. he is going back into joinery next week, right question is will he be recognised in joinery work with all his year of experience and when we send of forms for assesment will it start from when he first went into it or from next week. and does he have to of been working 12 months before we can send the forms off.we are 5 points short of the skilled indep ggggrrrr hoping the bush visa is a little lower in points was hoping to move to adalaide though but i know that joinery is in demand in a few places would consider moving where its in demand and then maybe relocate if we wanted(sounds easy mmmmm NOT ) so any advice or knowlede would be most appreciated
thanks in advance

Debs
I think the best advice I can give as I do not know the specific answer, is to phone one of the migration consultants and ask if you will qualify, it costs nothing to ask a question as you may think of using them in the future if you are eligable...if you get my drift !!!
