Default Skills assessment

I'm migrating under the ENS and I'm anticipating having to submit a skills assessment shorty. The position I have accepted and have been nominated to fill is an Electrical Engineer postion. The relevant assessing body being the Inststute of Engineers - Australia. I however only have a 3 year National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and not a 4 year universaty Degree. I have done many other courses and diploma's and have 10 years experience doing work at an Engineers level and have had Degree qualified Engineers under my supervision. I have also done work for this company in the Middle East.

Would the assessing authority take the above into consideration or should the company employing me change the job title to something like Electrical Technician in order for there to be no doubts?
