Skilled Visa Assessment
Hello
I have just completed a skilled Visa Assessment & passed! But my score was 110. I thought the score had to be at least 120 to be able to apply for a skilled visa. Any thoughts would be good please!!!
Thank you

Re: Skilled Visa Assessment
A State/Territory Nominated Independant visa (STNI) only requires 70 points and a State Independant Regional (SIR) only needs 110 points. There are others as well but I can remember the pass marks on them
The STNI is a permanent visa and the SIR is temporary. You would be tied to a regional part of Australia for both of them. But then all of South Australia is classed as regional so it's not as bad as it sounds

Re: Skilled Visa Assessment
hi
you do need 120 points for a skilled independent visa. I did some online assessments and found a variation in the scores they came up with
have a look on the immigration website www.immi.gov.au booklet 6 is very useful and have a read of the application form SK47 it has a points checklist on it if I remember rightly.
Good luck!
