Smile Skilled Migration Visa

We are attempting to go to Australia under Skilled Migration.

My husband is a Fibrous Plasterer and would be main applicant.

I am currently a volunteer chairperson for a childcare setting. Should I mention this on the skilled migration application so I would be considered also to get extra points or would this be detremental to our application as it is voluntary and paid employment. Also it is not on the SOL.

I have tried emailing DIMIA but have had no luck so far.

Any suggestions would be greatly received.

I don't think there would be any point putting your childcare on the form. you won't get any extra points. they are just looking to see in you have a skill that has been recognised by the TRA or other agency.

Thanks for that. I won't bother putting it on there then.

Cheers
