Skilled Designated Area Migration charges

I just logged in today and I used the charges indicated in the Australian Embassy in the Philippines.

It says that the charges for Skilled Migration is AU$ 1175.00.
http://www.australia.com.ph/immigration/infosheet/infosheet_10.html

What makes things confusing is that some of the threads here say AU$1745.00.

What is the correct amount?

What happens now to my application since I wrote AU$1175.00 on it?

Thank you.

Depends on when you lodged your application.

The new fee of AUD$1,745 only applies to applications lodged on and after July 1, 2002.

Re: Skilled Designated Area Migration charges

Hello Peter,

Well sad to say. I just sent it this month.

Now I'm totally blasted! What a boo boo....

Is my application going to be returned to me?

I am applying on my own. No help from Migration Agents.

I do have an assurer and sponsor.

Can they help me with this ?

What's my best alternative now?

I haven't received any confirmation from DIMIA yet.

Thank you.

My application for regional sponsored arrived on 2 July 2002 despite
being couriered to get there for 1 July. DIMA e-mailed to say we must
pay the difference and I think also sent something in the post to that
effect. We sent off a paper with authorisation for our credit card to
be debited the appropriate amount. A week or so later they sent
confirmation of receiving our application giving us a number and said
processing would take 50 weeks.
