Default Skill Matching DB ?

Hi,

Is there any point in filling out the Skill Matching part of the application form ? Is there any value in it ?

Thanks.

Hi Ian
We filled out the skills matching part,to be told by our agent afterwards you dont go onto it till your application is actually picked up , what a stupid idea. Our agent has said to us it is yet to be proved it works. We assumed you would / might be able to get a job before you go apparently not. Dont think you are losing anything though by filling it in.
Regards Joanne

We too filled in the skills matching bit and had no come back from it. Have not heard of anyone who has.

I think that companies have to prove they can't find anyone else to fill the position before taking someone from the data-base.

It can do no harm to fill it in and who knows maybe someone will be looking for the skills you have.
