skill assessment !

I have had my skill assesses in August 2001. But for certain reasons I was not able to file my application for immigration then. I am planning to file my application in a few weeks time. My question is what is the validity of skill assessment ? and Should I file amy application with the old skill assessment report or would it be a good idea to get a new one ?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!!!!

Out of interest, why not?

The validity of skill assessments depends on the assessing body involved. The letter
should make it clear.

As long as you apply for migration before the expiry of the skill assessment you will
be ok. It does not normally matter if the expiry date passes after application, as
far as I know.

The reason for not filing then was...my plans to immigrate in 2004 or after.

Thanks for your answer anyway!
