Hello.
I'm travelling over from England to live in Melbourne for six months in October. I thought I'd be able to get a room pretty easy for that length of time, but a lot of the places I've looked are 12 month leases.

I've been scrawling through Gumtree, Flatmate finder and pretty much everywhere else I can find. Can anyone help? It's getting a bit desperate now.

Unfortunately my budget won't stretch that far I'm looking for shared short term accomodation. There is probably something out there, I'm just looking in the wrong place.

Keep looking at gumtree, there are always people looking for lodgers, house shares that sort of thing.
