SIR-buying a house and extra points
Have been in contact with FIRB in Aus whom kindly replied.Regarding buying a house on a SIR visa-you CAN,need to apply for permission first,can buy second hand if you're going to live in it-not for investment.Only new builds or land to be brought as investment.They sent details of application forms too,if any one needs info PM me, will send on to you.
Extra points for sponsorship under SIR are expected to be posted on DIMIA site on 1st July.-This via DIMIA email.-they expect it to be 10 points for sponsorship.George posted a good thread tonight about a meeting they had had today in Sydney-book 6 to be updated,pos next friday on site.
