Hi all, hope you had a good weekend!

Has anyone stopped over at Singapore and know if there are lockers that you can leave luggage in while you go off and explore for a few days? Want to stop over on the way to Perth but do not want to have to tackle 40kgs luggage x 5 and 2 x car seats all the way to hotel to take back to the airport again 3 days later.

Electronic lockers for left baggage are available in Terminals 1 and 2. The rental charges are as follows (use only S$1.00 or S$0.50 coins):

Locker Size Standard Large
First 2 hours S$2.00 S$3.00
Next 22 hours S$3.00 S$4.00
Subsequent 24 hours
S$5.00 S$7.00

I just got this off their website, hope it helps. I know a number of people off here have used them.

Don't know if there are lockers at Singapore airport but a taxi for us a few weeks ago only cost £5 from the airport to our hotel which was 20 mins away. May be cheaper for you to get 2 cabs so that you can take your luggage with you.

We pre-booked a meet and greet at the airport for 25 quid each way so getting the bags to and from the airport to the hotel should not be too much of an ordeal.

You can leave it all in left luggage. We left 6 suitcases there no probs. Can't remember how much it cost, but it wasn't alot. If you just ask at the info desk they will point you in the right direction. We stayed in Singapore for 3 nights and loved it! Good luck.

we are having 9 days in malaysia and are leaving all our excess baggage at singapore airport. there are 4 left luggage desks and heres the info below.

We have the facilities to store your bags both at Terminal One and Terminal Two.There is no time limit for you to store the bag as the rate be charge will be in block of twenty four hours.

We append below the storage rates and localities within Terminal One and Terminal Two.

The four outlets (open for 24 hours) are situated at:

UNACCOMPANIED BAGGAGE/LEFT BAGGAGE (Non Transit Area)
Terminal 1 - Basement West #B21-62

Terminal 2 - Arrival Meeting Hall North #016/24

LEFT BAGGAGE (Transit Area - Please do not clear Immigration)
Terminal 1 - Departure Transit Lounge East, Level 2 #021-19

Terminal 2 - Departure Transit Lounge South, Level 2 #026-068

Charge for each piece / item is according to size and is based on a minimum charge for a block of 24 hours.

Size Rate of 24 hours-block Subsequent 24 hours block (Please note that wef 1st July the GST(Goods and Service Tax) will be increased by 2% from 5% to 7%)

Cabin Bag SGD$3.15nett SGD$4.20nett

Suitcase SGD$4.20nett SGD$5.25nett

Odd Size SGD$8.40nett SGD$10.50nett

Payment can be made by cash (Singapore dollars or US, Euros, Aust, Stg,) or by major credit card.

Thanks everyone for all your replies. It is at times like this that I wonder how I get through life Please believe me when I say I spent the best part of 2 hours yesterday trying to find out that information from Singapore airport itself etc. I am so grateful and thanks again.
