Should we buy fridge freezer new or second hand in Perth?
Hi there,
Just after a bit of advice. We are relatively new comers to Perth and have just got a house rental and waiting for our container to arrive.
We are looking at fridge freezers, so many to choose from and they seem pricey too.
Any recommendations on which brand to go with and whether to buy new or second hand?
Thanks for any advice.

You can rent one until your container arrives, try Betta Electrical in Subiaco http://www.betta.com.au/store_home.aspx, another place is Mr Rental. You need to have a fairly large fridge here, as so much more food needs to be stored there in the warmer months. You might find it cheaper to buy/rent 2 smaller fridges (known as bar fridges here). You can look up different brands for reviews, eg Choice magazine (usually in libraries or on-line) or Product Review http://www.productreview.com.au/c/fr...igerators.html. We've been very happy with Electrolux; vaguely remember hearing that LGs weren't so good.
