Should I send my police checks with my 457 application? or should I wait until they send me a letter and ask for them?

also, what about chest x-rays?

hi dm,
if you have your police checks already i would send them in now if you havent send your application off with a letter explaining you will forward your ploice checks when received. Thats what we were told to do.
It takes a good four weeks until they even look at your application so it will save you time to get it in asap.
We sent our meds, xrays and pol checks at same time.

I agree, send police checks in with the app. If you're confident that you'll get the visa, send the x-rays in too.

I'm completing the 457 visa right now, and there is no mention of police checks, just the chest x-rays, have I missed something here?

I'm so glad somebody else thinks they're missing something cos we've just filled out our 457, got our x rays booked but nobodys asked for police checks or medicals. Confused? I am!

Yeah, the first time I ever read about police checks was on this website. I didn't see anything about it on the application.

Someone mentioned that they got their 457 visa approved, but they had to send in chest x-rays and police checks. So I figured everyone has to do that.
