Should I file an application now or wait !?!

Hi All !
I have almost all the papers ready for filing an application (migration to Australia) except IELTS exam result and a recent Police certificate. We ( myself and spouse) will be taking the test during the last week of Jan.
Would appreciate if anyone could provide some insight as whether we should file our application now or should we wait for our IELTS exam results ?

I think u'd be better off waiting for your IELTS results
and send them thru with ur application. Police certificate can wait till they ask for.
