Default Shortest Flight Europe/U.K. to Oz ?

We are planning a recce , in September , mainly to Brisbane and Adelaide ;
instead of stopping over in Singapore , can anyone recommend shortest possible flight from London or N.W. Europe , to either Sydney or Melbourne ?
Many thanks for any suggestions !

On some flights , the total travelling time can be as long as 34 hours ;
we're trying to spend the least time poss , inside planes and airports...

If you are not looking forward to 12 hours in one hit then what about 7 hours?

Europe to Dubai, Dubai to Singapore (I know you said no), Singapore to Oz.

Either way Via Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok you are going to have to stop off for refuelling.

There are loads of one-stop flights. Just find one with the shortest re-fuelling time at the hub (Singapore/KL/Bangkok/HK/Dubai etc) and you should be able to do it in around 21 hours.
