I think you made the right decision given all the circumstances. I'm not sure I would have attempted moving whilst pregnant - during my pregancies I was very emotional and tired, I can't imagine going through emigration as well!!!

You also had the stress of the business, not so easy to walk away from, my husband just handed in his notice and we were off.

"What will be will be" as my Nan used to day - Good luck!

Yes I did miss family and friends but that was not the problem, it was that is wasn't home to me and I knew it never would be. Don't get me wrong I know it takes time and I never for one minute expected it to be a warmer version of the UK but something was missing. We arrived back at Manchester Airport (not the most inviting of places) in temperatures of -1 and I really felt as if I was home and I have never been so glad to see somewhere in my life.

Driving up the M6 to Cumbria (which is where we are from) the hills of the Lake District came in sight and I got one enourmous lump in my throat, I was home and this is where I wanted to be. In some ways in Oz I felt very vunerable it is a foreign country and I think this is what many forget.

Australia is a lovely country but for me not where I can make my home but visit for a holiday.
