Short trip to Sydney to see Franz Ferdinand......
Going to Sydney for a few days in a couple of weeks time, going to see Franz Ferdinand is the excuse, any other reccomended places, sights, things to do on the days/nights we are there.
We will be staying at Darling Harbour and had a thought to go to the Blue Mountains but thats about it. Any ideas appreciated. Bill |

Take a lovely walk from the Opera House through the Botanic Gardens and have lunch at the cafe in there. Lovely place to sit and watch all the flying foxes (huge bats) swooping above your head. All completely free of charge (except your lunch of course) :)

If there's a few of you the cost is not too bad (about £280 for half day between you). We had a fantastic afternoon not so long back. The woman who runs it (and skippers it) is really lovely (Annie) - sip cold wine, listen to music, go superstar house spotting, try sailing it yourself (under the watchful eye of Annie of course!). A really great way to see Sydney! Graham |

Thanks again Bill And the nice thing is that it's not a big company or anything (you can probably tell that from the website!), just a woman (an expat of many years actually) who loves sailing and has got her own yacht. She does lessons and all sorts as well. Glad it has given you ideas... Graham |
