Default Short Term Furnished In Brisbane

Hi

When we were looking for somewhere here in Brisbane on arrival I searched on here for recommendations but all were full (!) we ended up at this place which was very good indeed.

Very modern , nice little complex , exactly as per the website pictures , very residential quiet area within 5 minutes of CBD, shopping at Toombul (Big complex/mall place) ( and mcdonalds ;-) ). Good little pool for kids and very quiet. Nice views from balconies and no noise from other units.

$530 / week for short-term , we took 3 weeks move out on Monday.

John the manager is a nice guy - email him for any help required. His details are on the website above.Theyve got other properties which look similar standard - the one at Newstead is stones throw from the river.

For a Furnished place, $530pw is very good, short term.

Furnished is normally about double the unfurnished rates.

Are you stalking us or something? We were staying at Newstead, at the apartment managed by John (yes he's very nice, as is his wife) as well, last August/September, for 6 weeks. AND we are living happily in Ormiston...

Welcome to Ormiston/Bayside/Brisbane!

Cheers,
Mrs JTL

Most of the apartment complexes listed on SEQRENTS are quite small and don't have much room for kicking a football. Some have swimming pool though. You can always take your sons to a park near by. The place in Newstead is near a small park where the historic Newstead House is.

Cheers,
Mrs JTL

Just curious, but Clayfield to the CBD n five minutes?? Thats fairly moving!!

They are lovely units though, and its a good area to start off in - very family orientated.

Yeah I should say "not at rush hour" but rush hour when you are in your first few weeks is any time between 11am to 3pm ;-)

It feels like five minutes... down the road over a small bridge thing and bingo.
