Default Short Term Furnished Accomodation East Brisbane

Does anybody know of any agents who specialise in short term furnished accomodation or any good sites to look at.

We will bo looking at longer term rental in the Wynnum, Redland Bay, Victoria Point, Cleveland areas so would be interested in rentals in those areas.

Thanks

Default Manly,Wynnum & Wynnum West

Hoping that our VISA's will be approved some time this week If they are we will be moving to Brisbane within the next few weeks. We are looking at the above areas. Does anybody have any experience of them? Are they good places to bring up two children aged 9 and 5? Are the primary schools good?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi Chrissy and Steve

We live not far from Manly and Wynnum. They are really nice areas which are great for families. I don't know about the schools specifically, but generally a decent area = decent schools so I would assume that the schools are good.

Wynnum and Manly are very much established areas so a lot of the housing is older style - which is not a problem at all, it's just a very different style of housing to what you would find in the UK. Having said that, there is also a lot of new build going on in some parts so there is modern housing as well.

The Wynnum wading pool and parkland area is lovely to take the kids to and for a picnic.

Please shout if you want any more help.

Fingers crossed that visa comes through for you asap.

Love

Rudi

Hi Chrissy and Steve

I replied to you on another thread about the Wynnum and Manly area.

When are you planning to come over? My calendar is quite full but let me know if I can help at all.....just click on the link below my signature.

It's in Redland Bay. If I'm booked up, try looking at Stayz and Takeabreak as well.

Love

After living here for 6 years, with a young child, there are three areas that I would consider living in the general Brisbane area:
  1. Redlands Bayside area.
  2. Wynnum Manly (also classed as bayside, but not Redlands)
  3. Redcliffe

Here's a fairly new place in Wynnum. Also has car hire if needed.

I think it's more set up as a guest house, so you may not have exclusive access. So if you have a few groups in there they may need separate cooking facilities etc.
