Short term accomodation on arrival - Perth

hello!

I was wondering if anyone has some good websites in regards to short term accomodation in and around Perth, and what is a realistic budget for a months stay. Is a month long enough to find a longer term rental? What were other peoples experinces in finding long term rentals in Perth? We are planning to go in August this year.

thanks guys

Hi

I don't know how many there are in your family but my OH and myself have used this website to book a 1 bed apartment in Melbourne for the first 7 week we are there from next month.

http://www.not1night.com.au/

It's mainly serviced apartments and motels but there is the odd house in there too. I have double checked and they do have properties in Perth.
The prices get cheaper, the longer you book for and you get many more facilities than a hotel so you can look after yourselves. Ours has a full kitchen including a dishwasher and a washing machine.
